I’ve long admired Charlene Li’s thoughtful research on collaboration, social networks, and web 2.0. She writes this morning that she will be on 60 Minutes (“THE 60 Minutes!” she says) this coming Sunday, January 14th to talk about Facebook with Leslie Stahl. Program your TIVO.

Given the demographics of 60 minutes, Charlene notes, her invitation to be interviewed is a strong indication of CBS News’ desire to reach a younger audience. I also think that it bodes well for the wider adoption of Web 2.0 into the enterprise. I’ve been having great conversations with Nancy Settle-Murphy about how these technologies can be put to use to support virtual teams. The first of our articles, Why Social Networking Can Mean Serious Business for Teams, has just been published in Nancy’s monthly eZine.
